Terms & Conditions
-
Please call, email or use the website’s
bookings & enquiries
form to make a booking.
-
One week is usually from Saturday to Saturday. Please
call to make short notice or mid-week bookings. Please note that
Saturday is generally a change-over day. Guests should depart before
10:00 and not arrive before 16:00.
-
Prices are for the whole cottage with one to four people
staying and where necessary, for one or more cots. There are generally
no discounts for single/fewer than maximum occupancy. There is no limit
on the number of infants staying, although guests are advised to bring
their own additional cots if necessary, as we only provide one cot. One
high chair in solid pine is provided, which also folds into a small
table and chair for an infant.
-
This is a non-smoking property and we do not allow pets.
A wheelchair may access all of the rooms via an external concrete ramp,
however, the gallery is only accessible by climbing
the stairs.
-
Linen, towels and oil central heating is provided. The
electricity is not included and the meter is read on arrival and
departure. Most guests usually consume £10 to £15 per week, e.g. a low
temperature clothes wash will cost 20p.
-
If you make your
booking more than six weeks before the arrival date, then
to confirm the booking you need to pay a non-refundable deposit
comprising 35% of the total price, with the remaining 65% of the total
price due at least six weeks before arrival. If you make your booking
six weeks or less before the arrival date, then in order to confirm
your booking, you need to pay 100% of the total cost, 35% of which forms
a non-refundable deposit. Any refunds due will be sent within 14 days of
cancellation. No refunds are available for cancellations made within
four
weeks of arrival.
-
Payments should be made by cheque (please make them payable to ‘Mrs
Pauline Roberts-Jones’) and sent to the address above (unless otherwise
instructed by the owner when booking).
-
Although the owner understands that accidents may happen,
guests are politely reminded that they
are liable for any damage they cause to the property, its contents and
the surrounding area, arising from negligence, accidents and/or criminal activity.
